A poster paper co-authored by Qasim Khalid (MS student), Dr. Naveed Arshad (Computer Science), and Dr. Jahangir Ikram (Electrical Engineering) was awarded the Best Poster Paper Award at the 13th ACM Conference on Embedded Networked Sensor Systems (SenSys 2015). Sensys is an A* conference in the ‘Core’ conference rankings. This year Sensys accepted research contributions from places such as MIT, CMU, UC Berkeley, Michigan, UCSD, Imperial College, NTU, ETH Zurich and many other top institutions around the world. LUMS team presented their poster entitled ‘Maximizing Renewable Energy Usage in Buildings using Smart Energy Switching Platform’.
