LUMS Alumnus, Ali Haider Shirazi (BSc ACF 2015) has been accepted into the HEC Paris which is one of the oldest and elite business schools of Europe. It is currently ranked as the # 5 business school in the world by The Economist. He will be joining the Msc. International Finance programme which has been ranked the # 1 Masters in Finance in the world for the past six consecutive years by Financial Times and is highly selective, with only around 100 students getting admission from around the globe. Ali has also been awarded the HEC Merit Scholarship for his tenure and is the only Pakistani student selected for the programme.

Ali graduated from LUMS in 2015 and is currently working at Standard Chartered Bank as a Fast Track Graduate.

Here's what Ali has to say about his experience at LUMS:

“The professional and personal growth that I have experienced at LUMS, and SDSB in particular, has been exponential in scale and has allowed me to achieve my dream. Ranging from extracurricular activities to an intense academic experience in ACF, LUMS has engendered critical thinking within me and taught me to challenge my own limits. To learn, relearn and improve.”
