A large number of LUMS students aspire to join the civil services. Recently, a Shaikh Ahmad Hassan School of Law (SAHSOL) student, Malik Muhammad Danish (17090031, Law Major 2012-2017), has qualified the combined competitive examination for Provincial Management Services (PMS) 2015-16 organised by Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) in January 2016. According the result announced on April 13, 2016, Mr. Danish stands 41st on the merit list and shall be appointed as Assistant Commissioner in BS-17 after completion of training.
Mr. Danish holds the distinction of being on the Dean’s Honour List. He is also the first SAHSOL student to have passed a competitive exam while still being enrolled at the LUMS Law School.
