Formation of the Multan, Faisalabad and Sialkot Alumni Chapters
The Office of Alumni Relations is pleased to announce the formation of three new alumni chapters, the LUMS Alumni Faisalabad Chapter, LUMS Alumni Sialkot Region and LUMS Alumni Multan Chapter.
LUMS Alumni Faisalabad Chapter:
The first meeting of the Faisalabad Chapter was held on the Monday, October 24, 2016 and was hosted by Mr. Javaid Iqbal Marath (EMBA 2008 & Chief Manager, State Bank of Pakistan) at the State Bank of Pakistan. Irfan Latif and Sarah Ali from the LUMS Alumni Relations team travelled to Faisalabad from Lahore to meet the alumni. The alumni in Faisalabad were very excited about finally having a chapter of their own. A chat with the alumni about their time at LUMS ensued over a scrumptous meal. The Alumni gave postive feedback on the survey forms distributed by the Alumni team.
LUMS Alumni Department is proud to announce the Faisalabad Alumni Chapter. Now it’s time for the Alumni to play thier part and make this chapter a huge success. Mr. Javaid Iqbal Marath was elected as the first President of the Faisalabad Chapter for a term of two years. LUMS Alumni Sialkot Region:
The first meeting of the Sialkot region was held on Thursday, October 27, 2016 and was hosted by Syed Ahtesham Gilani (EMBA 2009 & Owner of Cosmopolitan Enterprises) who took the lead in the establishment of this alumni Chapter. Irfan Latif and Erum Bhatti from the LUMS Alumni Relations team travelled to Faisalabad from Lahore to meet the alumni. Delicious coffee and cakes were served while the alumni relived the memories at LUMS. The alumni in Sialkot also gave great feedback regarding services of the department and about LUMS as an institution.
Syed Ahtesham Gilani was also elected as the first President of the LUMS Alumni Sialkot Region for a term of two years. Sialkot region includes Gujranwala, Gujrat, Kharian, Daska, Narowal, Wazirabad, Pasrur and related areas.

LUMS Alumni Multan Chapter:
The first meeting of Multan Chapter was held on Friday, November 04, 2016 and was hosted by Sohaib Tariq Bodla (BSc 2010 & Owner of Bodla Builders Multan). Irfan Latif and Shahkar Ahmed from the LUMS Alumni Relations team travelled to Multan to meet the alumni. Various discussions ensued over tea and refreshments. The alumni also discussed some issues and reservations regarding the LUMS experience which alumni relations team is in the process of addressing.
Furthermore, Sohaib Tariq Bodla was elected the first President of the Multan Alumni Chapter for a term of two years. The following positions are still available and the Alumni department are looking for more volunteers for this chapter.
