LUMS Alumnus Receives Acceptance in the Prestigious Global EMBA Programme

Faraan Ahmed Irfan, a graduate of BSc Economics, Batch of 2004 has been accepted into the Global EMBA programme. The Global EMBA programme is a joint programme conducted by London Business School, Columbia Business School and Hong Kong University, three of the top schools in the World. The selection process is quite rigorous; only 35 people worldwide are accepted into the Global EMBA programme. Furthermore, Faraan is the only Pakistani who has been given the privilege of representing his country in the Global EMBA programme.

The programme is taught in the 4 leading business hubs of the world – New York, London, Hong Kong and Shanghai. The EMBA Global Asia programme is a very prestigious programme and one of the best in the world. The alumni of these schools are among the most influential business leaders of the world including Warren Buffet. The programme will provide an opportunity to study with and learn from the top business leaders of the world and provide access to a powerful widespread alumni network.

Faraan Ahmed Irfan is one of the seven people granted a scholarship by the programme due to his strong credentials. He has been granted the maximum permitted scholarship grant of USD 15,000 that will be adjusted by the programme towards the tuition fee.
