Cell Signaling & Cancer Therapeutics

Cancer Therapeutics group focuses on identifying and characterizing novel synthetic and natural compounds with therapeutic potential for cancer. This involves assay-guided isolation and synthesis of compounds with anti-proliferative activities against cancer cell lines of different origins and identifying their mechanism of action. We also interested in understanding mechanisms of cancer drug resistance, evaluating drug combinations to overcome such resistance and identifying novel drug targets through hypothesis based screening.
