The Rausing Executive Development Centre at LUMS concluded its offering of the 'Building Blocks of Human Resource Management (BBHRM)' programme on October 7, 2019. BBHRM is especially designed to equip executives with essential and contemporary knowledge of Human Resource Management (HRM).
The research-intensive content of the programme offers scope of HR policies and practices on selection, retention, development, compensation and performance appraisal. The session gave attendees relevant knowledge and hands-on experience of international best practices.
Spearheaded by Programme Directors, Dr. Abdur Rahman Malik and Dr. Jawad Syed, the programme follows the Centre’s acclaimed participant-centred learning model with a mix of interactive discussions, case studies, simulation and group exercises that are designed to encourage peer-to-peer learning and networking.
Arsalan Qurashi, an executive at Kinetic Worldwide, talked about his experience and said, “It was a deeply detailed programme, giving insights to HR professionals, especially HR Business Partners, to cater to the challenges that HR is going to face in the future.”
Another participant, Syed Fahad Ahmed from the State Bank of Pakistan commented, “The programme covers all aspects of HRM, and equips every HR practitioner with contemporary tools to steer any organisation that is facing HR related issues.”
