On Friday, December 23, 2016, the Suleman Dawood School of Business (SDSB) celebrated Christmas to express solidarity with the Christian members of the staff. Commemoration of this event has been a great initiative of the Dean SDSB, Dr. Jawad Syed in order to promote the business school’s core values of tolerance and diversity. The event location was adorned by multi-coloured balloons, flowers and lights to augment the festivities. The festival’s centre of attention was the Christmas Tree which was adorned with multifarious ornaments. Furthermore, a special choir was arranged to sing Christmas carols and hymns that enhanced the gleeful ambience.
SDSB faculty and staff members were present on this joyous occasion. The Dean SDSB, Dr. Jawad Syed and Dr. Ehsan ul Haque cut the Christmas cake along with the celebrating staff members. Later on, the guests enjoyed an assortment of snacks and took photographs. The Christian Community at SDSB expressed their gratitude towards the Dean, Dr. Jawad Syed and fellow colleagues who joined them in celebrating their religious event.
