The Rausing Executive Development Centre (REDC) conducted a programme on Problem Solving and Decision Making from November 27 – 30, 2017, led by Programme Directors Jamshed H. Khan and Muhammad Shakeel Sadiq Jajja and supported in teaching by Nasser Aziz and Zainab Riaz.
This intensive 4-day programme provided the skills and techniques for making high-quality decisions and solving problems effectively. Participants built competences by learning how to work on the right problem, develop and structure objectives, understand the consequences, and make appropriate tradeoffs using several problem solving and decision making tools.
Discussion based case studies, interactive simulations and projects were blended with classroom activity to ensure that the participants get the opportunity to apply the concepts to one’s own business.
”A crisp programme to make decision making systematic, scientific and data-driven,” shared Namra Mansoor, Product Manager, British Council.
”It was a well-structured programme which introduced some interesting new tools and concepts that we can use. Great cases and simulation exercise,” said a Programme Participant.
