Friday, April 13, 2018

The Project for Uplifting LUMS Support Staff (PULSS), a wing of LUMS Community Service Society (LCSS), is a student held society operating to impart soft and technical education to the custodian staff at LUMS. Facilitated by HR, PULSS holds weekly sessions each semester for the custodian staff where they get to learn technical and vocational skills and knowledge that could benefit them in their personal and professional life.

At the end of the year, final examinations are conducted and the qualifying members are awarded the session completion certificates by HR in the closing ceremony.
Continuing with the traditions, this year HR organized the annual closing ceremony for the year 2017-2018 for the custodian staff at LUMS.

The Chief Guest of the ceremony was Mr. Asif Iqbal, the Head of HR, who was joined by Colonel Amer and Dr. Mariam Chughtai. The ceremony started with opening remarks by Mr. Iqbal and was then followed by the certificates distribution. Arrangements for tea were also made at EDH for the custodian staff and the society members.
