The Rausing Executive Development Centre’s programme, Leadership for Senior Executives accelerates the transformation of experienced senior executives into capable leaders who can drive business success. The 5-day open programme was conducted from October 22 - 26, 2018. This open enrollment programme was directed by Dr. Arif Nazir Butt, Professor, SBSB, co-directed by Dr. Muhammad Adeel Zaffar, Assistant Professor, SDSB and supported in teaching by Dr. Anwar Khurshid, Professor, SBSB and Mr. Khalid A. Mirza, Professor, SDSB. The programme exposed participants to a spectrum of concepts, skills and techniques essential for alleviating the role of senior executives.
Structured to spark self-reflection, innovation, and collaboration, the Programme aimed to create a learning laboratory for generating breakthrough ideas. Areas such as visionary and inspirational leadership, learning from others, team building and trust, power and politics, culture of collaboration and corporate governance were addressed in detail.
Interactive simulations and exercises were blended with classroom discussions on local and foreign case studies to ensure fruitful exchange of views amongst the executives. The Programme was well received by participants with key appreciation for guest speakers and simulation sessions.
