The Rausing Executive Development Centre (REDC) conducted a 2-day focused programme on ‘Understanding and Applying Case Based Learning’ for the University of Management and Technology (UMT), Lahore on October 6-7, 2017. The primary focus of the programme, directed by Syed Zahoor Hassan and Arif Iqbal Rana, was on building the foundational understanding of the philosophy and application of case-based pedagogy as well as the management aspects to support such a discipline.
Interactive simulations and exercises were blended with classroom discussions on local and foreign case studies to ensure fruitful exchange of views among the academics.
“One of a kind programme to inculcate case study method at a university,” said Salman Zaheer, programme participant.
