Dr. Faqir M Bhatti, faculty at Centre for Advanced Studies in Mathematics (CASM) at the Syed Babar Ali School of Science and Engineering (SBASSE) attended the National Conference on Mathematics and Computer Science (NCMCS) which was organised by the Quaid-i-Awam University of Engineering, Science and Technology from January 21 to 23, 2015 in Nawashah, Sindh. He was the keynote speaker at the conference and spoke about the Spectral Graph Theory and its applications in scientific and technological research as well as in Chemistry, Physics and Sociology. Graph theory ideas are frequently utilised, especially in data mining, image segmentation, clustering, image capturing and networking.
