- LUMS Association for Asian Studies (AAS) Partnership
LUMS has entered into a partnership with the Association for Asian Studies (AAS) which is the largest US based organization focusing on Asian studies.

LUMS and Sciences Po now have an MoU to allow LUMS faculty members to take part in the ‘Sciences Po Visiting Faculty Global Program’.

In the pipeline
The OIA is working on a multitude of events for the upcoming months:
HEC Expo in Sri Lanka
- This year LUMS has been invited by the HEC to take part in a study expo held in Colombo, as part of the HEC’s initiative to internationalize Pakistan’s Higher Education Institutions.
Heidelberg University Research Seminar
- The International Research Seminar “Heritage Conservation in Postcolonial Pakistan” aims to explore the heritage of postcolonial Pakistan, and in doing so strengthen ties with Heidelberg University and increase LUMS’ visibility and international standing. A group of international students from Heidelberg University, accompanied by Dr. Philipp Zehmisch – South Asian Institute, will be visiting LUMS in the first week of March for a week-long research seminar.
