Fatima Group has been a partner of the Lahore Univeristy of Management Sciences (LUMS) and has continuously supported LUMS for six years since 2011. They have now extended their support for the LUMS National Outreach Programme (NOP).
The MoU signing ceremony took place on July 12, 2017. Present at the event were Prof. Dr. S. Sohail H. Naqvi, Vice Chancellor LUMS along with delegates from Fatima Group which included Ms. Shanze Sheikh, Commercial Director; Mr. Ahsan Qureshi, Chief Human Resource Officer; Ms. Syma Waleed, Head of Rewards CC and CSR and Miss Hira Naz.
Prof. Dr. S. Sohail H. Naqvi appreciated Fatima Group’s fervour in its support for LUMS. He also stated that donations from corporations like Fatima Group allow LUMS in keeping their promise of providing a chance to students who are gifted, yet unable to attend a world-class institution.
The Vice Chancellor assured the delegates that the University upholds it values when it says it intends to provide quality education to students from all over the country and is striving hard to become the best university in Asia. With the support of organisations like Fatima Group, LUMS will be able to provide Pakistan with the best minds.
Mr. Ahsan Qureshi added that LUMS is not only the best university in terms of education but also in terms of its infrustructure and facilites.
