REDC Launches Management Development Programme

The Rausing Executive Development Centre (REDC) launched the twelve-day Management Development Programme for Industry Consortium. The programme, held from April 30 – May 11, 2017, was directed by Jamshed H. Khan, co-directed by Muhammad Adeel Zaffar and supported in teaching by Ehsan ul Haque, Arif N. Butt, Anwar Khurshid, Asad A. Alam, Khalid Mirza and Arif Ijaz.

The programme enabled participants to expand their knowledge across all functional areas and develop a holistic management perspective. Leading organisations, Fatima Fertilizer Ltd., PTCL, Packages Ltd. and Bullay Shah Packaging were part of the industry consortium.

The programme highlighted key areas related to general management such as developing customer centric culture, leadership traits, understanding organisations, value chain, marketing management, financial literacy and negotiation skills development. The entire experience revolves around MarkStrat - a simulation designed to focus on strategic marketing issues that enables the participants to integrate key functional areas in an organisation and drive a result-focused business strategy.
