Acasus, a consultancy dedicated to helping governments implement transformational reforms in education and health, conducted its recruitment drive at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) on Tuesday, February 7, 2017. Mr. Faisal Tajdaar, Project Manager, Acasus, began the session by asking questions from the students. Following this, he described the background of Acasus that was launched in 2013 by Ex Mckinsey consultants with wide public sector experience.
Later on, Mr. Tajdaar described how Acasus has launched different programmes since 2014 across Pakistan in Punjab, Baluchistan and KPK. He further explained the health issues in Punjab including those about how the infant mortality rate is increasing and the aim of the company is to bring that strategically down. At the moment Acasus is working with the Department of Health in Punjab on three major areas that include community midwives, 24/7 delivery services at BHUs and RHCs and comprehensive care.
He finally concluded the session by briefing the students on the skill-set required of the prospective employees as well as the company’s online application process. He also highlighted a few points to make applicants' applications strong and effective.
