‘The LUMS Open Day Dubai has been a very exciting event. It’s been great talking to all the youngsters and learning about their dreams, challenging them to come to LUMS to get the world’s best education in a beautiful environment in which they will find new friends and discover their career path,’ commented Prof. Dr. S. Sohail H. Naqvi, Vice Chancellor LUMS about the excellent turnout at the LUMS Open Day Dubai held on Friday, January 27, 2017.
A large number of youth along with their parents, from Dubai and adjoining areas, attended the Open Day to explore study options at LUMS. Dr. Naqvi along with Rabia Ahmad, Manager Admissions, Sarah Karim, Manager Marketing and Abdul Ghafoor, LUMS alumnus spoke to the enthusiastic audience about the LUMS programmes, its four schools and life on campus. They answered the numerous queries of the parents and prospective students.
The LUMS team also provided individual counselling to prospective students, who were satisfied with the information they received to their queries. They shared that the session was very useful and helpful in making an informed decision about their future academic plans. ‘I want to join LUMS because everyone I have spoken to has told me that it’s an amazing experience and it trumps other universities because of the environment it provides to its students,’ said a prospective student.
