High achievers of the class of 2016 gathered at LUMS to share memories, a night before the Convocation 2016, on Sunday, June 5, 2016.
The graduate night dinner is a LUMS tradition, organised to acknowledge academic excellence of the Class of 2016 amidst faculty, family, food and fun. The gathering also gives the opportunity to get together with fellow students and faculty one last time before the convocation.
Prof. Dr. S. Sohail H. Naqvi, Vice Chancellor LUMS addressed the students at the event and congratulated them for their fine academic performance. High achievers of the batch received recognition in form of the National Management Foundation (NMF) medals, corporate medals, and deans’ honour list plaques.
The graduates were welcomed to the LUMS Alumni Network by the Alumni Relations Office team, who introduced them to the functions of the Office, the activities it conducts, the benefits it offers and ways to stay connected to their alma mater. The Alumni Office had also constructed a special board for the students where they could share their thoughts on graduating.
The conferring of awards was followed by dinner and a karaoke night in which students sang their hearts out.
