Dr. Alnoor Bhimani - Honorary Dean, School of Business
Dr. Alnoor is a Professor of Management Accounting, and the Founding Director of ‘LSE Entrepreneurship’ at the London School of Economics (LSE). He has also headed the Department of Accounting at LSE during his 30 years’ service at the institution. He is an advocate for quality education and innovation, an accomplished scholar and a dedicated teacher. Dr. Alnoor has authored over 100 publications. He is connected with tech-entrepreneurs and sits on business school Advisory Boards in Africa, America, Europe and Asia.
Fatima Asad-Said - Managing Director, Corporate Governance and People Solutions, Abacus
Ms. Fatima Asad-Said is an integral member of the Corporate Board at Abacus. Over the last 23 years, her professional experience has focused on delivering transformative solutions and thought leadership in corporate governance, strategic change, organisational and learning development, human capital management and advisory, rewards advisory, technology transitions for HR and talent, diversity and inclusion, project management, and strategic client relationship management, across various sectors including government, public and private sectors. Ms. Fatima is also responsible for overseeing the strategic alliances with global partners namely Mercer and Center for Creative Leadership (CCL). Her portfolio also includes the team providing operational support to Fragomen Middle East, a global mobility firm. With an MBA from LUMS and post-graduate diploma from LSE, she started her career with Coopers & Lybrand International and then PricewaterhouseCoopers. Her leadership journey also includes serving on various Boards such as LUMS, Kashf Foundation, Kaarvan Crafts and Bata Pakistan as an independent director and member of various board committees.
Mr. Saleem Ahmad - Co-Founder and Partner, 47 Ventures
Mr. Saleem Ahmad is a globally recognised finance professional with a distinguished hedge fund, private equity, venture capital and investment banking career spanning over two decades. A LUMS alumnus, he honed his investment and leadership experience at leading global financial institutions including JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse and Citigroup in New York, London, Hong Kong, Colombo, Lahore and Karachi. Mr. Saleem most recently served as Managing Director of Highbridge Capital, the hedge fund arm of JPMorgan's multi-trillion dollar asset management business. Previously, he has advised on or executed over $250 billion of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings and financings across industries globally. He is passionate about entrepreneurship and co-founded 47 Ventures, first international VC fund focused on Pakistan. Mr. Saleem has served as a Corporate Leader at the Council on Foreign Relations in New York, and is passionate about female literacy and healthcare in developing countries. He has postgraduate degrees from Wharton (UPENN) where he was on the Executive Council, London School of Economics where he was a Governor on the Court of Governors, and LUMS where he was awarded Vice Chancellor’s inaugural Alumni Achievement Award.
Dr. Shakeel Sadiq Jajja - Associate Professor, School of Business, LUMS
Dr. Shakeel Sadiq Jajja is Associate Professor of Operations and Supply Chain Management and Director of Executive MBA programme at the School of Business, LUMS. Dr. Shakeel regularly publishes his research in supply chain management in top tier international journals and has received several awards from highly esteemed platforms such as Decision Sciences Institute and Production and Operations Management Society. He has extensive experience in providing executive education and consultancy services to leading national and international organisations. Dr. Shakeel holds a PhD in Management, MS in Total Quality Management, and BSc in Mechanical Engineering.
