It was a memorable night for the Class of MBA 1999 on Sunday, December 22, 2020 as they celebrated their two decades of association with LUMS. The alumni got together at their alma mater for a 20-Year Reunion at the Executive Dining Hall (EDH) at LUMS.
In addition to the Alumni Office team, Latafat Baig, Senior Assistant Registrar, and an all-around favourite member of the LUMS community, was also there to welcome the graduates. Everyone was incredibly excited to meet Latafat Sahab after many years and had a great time reminiscing over their student life and Zambeel days with him.
Nuzhat Kamran, Director of Advancement, also attended the reunion, and in her discussions with the alumni, emphasised the importance of giving back to your alma mater, sharing how any kind of contribution, be it mentorship or volunteerism or financial support can be valuable to the university.
As the alumni reminisced over their unforgettable time at LUMS, they had a great time sharing stories about their favourite moments from University life, and appreciated how even after so many years, LUMS has continued to stay engaged with its alumni base. The evening ended with a scrumptious dinner and a group photo of the class.
