Vivo Pakistan conducted its recruitment drive at LUMS on April 2, 2019. Mr. Rizwan Ali Younas, Training Manager began the session by giving a brief introduction of the company. He further explained about the BENFEN (core values) that the company follows i.e. Team spirit, Superior quality, Constant learning, Innovation, Consumer Orientation and Integrity.
Vivo started its operations in Pakistan in May 2017 and officially launched its first flagship phone (V5) in July 2017. As of February 2017, according to newest GFK data Vivo ranked second surpassing (Apple, Samsung and Huawei) in the Chinese Smartphone market in terms of offline sales at 20.2 percent. The company also achieved its 2017 goal by selling almost 80 million mobiles and within a short span of time, it expanded its market share to number five in the world.
Later in the session, Chris Zhao, Market Development Director, took the stage and shared his experience of working in Vivo Pakistan. He said, “ I joined this company as MTO-Sales three years back right after my graduation. Vivo provides an excellent working environment and growth prospects to fresh graduates”.
Later, Mr. Syed Shah Mohammad shared details of opportunities at Vivo Pakistan. He explained that they are looking for fresh graduates for sales, sales support, finance and data analysis.
The session concluded with an interactive Question and Answer session followed by a written test.
