One of the goals of the Career Services Office (CSO) at LUMS is to facilitate placements and internships for its students, and to equip them with the necessary information in this regard. In line with this vision, CSO arranged Nestle Pakistan’s recruitment drive at LUMS for their Management Trainee and Internship Programmes on Thursday, January 24, 2019. She told the audience that Nestle is the world’s largest food and beverages company having diversified products for every stage of life, established 150 years. "The brands, support and careers Nestle offers are integral to creating long-term sustainable value for consumers, communities and colleagues alike. Employees that join the organisation have the privilege to grow in an environment where integrity, respect, trust and teamwork are core values," she said.
Following the introductory presentation by Ms. Javaid, LUMS graduates, Osama Malik and Mahnoor Tahir, shared insights from their journey at Nestle where they have been Management Trainees for the last six months. They shared that they were both given the opportunity to work in three different functions where they were involved in real time projects including the launch of a new product.
