The Coca Cola Export Corporation’s management in Pakistan and the beneficiaries of Coca Cola Endowment Fund established at LUMS met each other on December 7, 2018. The session, arranged by the Office of Development, was attended by Rizwan Ullah Khan, General Manager, The Coca-Cola Export Corporation (Pakistan & Afghanistan Region), along with his team members Natasha Haroon, Executive – Public Affairs and Communication and Meher un Nisa Arif, Executive Assistant to General Manager, Dr. Arshad Ahmad, Vice Chancellor, LUMS and Nuzhat Kamran, Director, Advancement Office.
The students, Salman Ali, currently enrolled in the BS Mathematics programme and Muhammad Bashir, a student of BS Economics/Mathematics (placed on the Dean’s Honour List 2018), introduced themselves.
Mr. Khan shared some inspirational tips with the students on how to achieve success in their life. He stressed that knowledge and education are the most important things in life so one should try to acquire as much knowledge as possible. Also, along with education, one should also develop intellectual capabilities that will help in practical life. Mr. Khan also emphasised that a person should have a focused approach and a set goal accordingly. He added that Coca Cola would like to offer internship programmes to students, as they would help them explore the market and get practical experience of industry.

The session concluded with Dr. Ahmad, presenting the History Book of LUMS and Learning from Others, the autobiography of Syed Babar Ali, Pro Chancellor, LUMS to the guests.
