International Office at LUMS organised an informative session about Global Ugrad Cultural Exchange Programme 2019 on October 11, 2018 at CR1-07, Shaikh Ahmad Hassan School of Law (SAHSOL). The purpose of the session was to guide the students about different aspects of the programme with special focus on the steps and requirements of the application process. Mr. Shakir Hussain Shakir, Exchange Programme Officer took the session and many students from different disciplines participated in the session. The session thoroughly covered:
• Writing an effective personal statement
• Things that matter most in the selection process
• Important documents needed to be attached with the application
• Necessary steps that come before, during and after the selection process
• Placement in US Universities
• Process to transfer the credit hours at LUMS
• All instant queries raised by the students at the end of the session
Students showed great enthusiasm, interest and energy in the session. We are expecting that this year greatest number of students from LUMS will apply for this programme.
