Packages Limited conducted its campus drive at the Lahore University of Management Sciences on April 24, 2018. Ms. Zoya Gillani (Assistant Manager Organisational Excellence) started the session with an introduction of Packages Limited and their team members. She then invited Mr. Jawad Gillani (Head of Organisational Excellence) who briefed the audience about the company and shared that it was established in 1956 as a joint venture between the Ali Group of Pakistan and Akerlund & Rausing of Sweden. He said that Packages Limited currently has 10 businesses; DIC, Packages Real Estate, Packages Lanka, Flexible Packaging Converters, Omya-Pack, Bulleh-Shah Packaging, IGI Insurance, Tri-Pack Films, IGI Investment Bank and IGI Life.
He further elaborated that Packages Limited has presence in 3 countries, 2 continents and also has around 50 offices in Pakistan. He also highlighted that they do packaging of all kinds of products with a wide range of customers. In the end, he talked about the job opportunities and internships available at Packages Limited and the procedure to apply.
The session concluded with an interactive question and answer session.
