Fauji Fertilizer Company (FFC) Limited conducted a recruitment drive for its Management Trainee Programme at LUMS on Friday February 9, 2018. Senior Manager HR FFC, Rizwan Mansoor started the session by giving a brief introduction of his company. He further explained that FFC is the largest Urea Manufacturing Company working in Pakistan and for the past six years has been ranked as the number one company by the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
Maj. Waqar Malik, Senior Executive HR, then took the stage and told the audience that the company began working in 1978 and has reached a Market Cap of 133 Billion. He further described that FFC is the large organisation with 3700 employees, 5 factories and 8 companies. Further discussions covered the facilities for FFC employees including state of the art education for children, accommodation, medical and transportation.
Maj. Malik further talked about FFC’s Trainee Programme and the hiring process that includes: NTS, Job Fare, Short Listing, Interview, Finalizing, Offer Letter, Medical Fitness Test and then Joining. After the session, interviews of some BS and MS EE students were also conducted.
