Career Services Office (CSO) organised a grooming session on “Personal Branding” on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at LUMS. Mr. Fahad Tanveer, a LUMS alumnus and a Harvard University graduate and director of Vitalis Health Care, conducted the session.

Mr. Fahad Tanveer started off the session by asking the students who they are and what their life’s vision is. He emphasised on the importance of personal branding which helps students to stand out from their competitors in this competitive job market. He shared tips on becoming an unforgettable brand on their own as well as for the interviewers. He further explained that consistency, creativity and innovation and memorable actions help us to build a strong professional image in the minds of employers. He also discussed the importance of alumni networking, building strong corporate links via various social channels, connecting with mentors for self-learning and building robust relationships among the potential employers for graduates in building careers.

The students appreciated the session and participated throughout by raising questions which were answered comprehensively by Mr. Tanveer.
