China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is being presented as a framework of connectivity and a journey towards economic regionalization in the globalized world. To explore in detail and unveil Myths and Realities, Northern Regional Committee of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) hosted a Conference on the theme of “CPEC- Myths and Realities” on February 17, 2018 at Avari Hotel, Lahore. ICAP CPEC Conference brought together high-profile experts, leaders, thinkers, business personnel and professionals from all over Pakistan to enlighten upon the concept and unfold the theme ‘CPEC – Myths and Realities’.
Dr. Jawad Syed spoke about “Business and commercial aspects of CPEC” at the event. Minister for Interior and Planning, Development & Reform, Dr. Mohammad Ahsan Iqbal was the guest of honour along with Mr. Salman Shah Former Finance Minister, Dr. Ishrat Hussain Dean IBA and Former Governor State Bank of Pakistan and many other high-profile dignitaries, who shared their vision and thoughts with the participants on various topics unfolding CPEC Myths and Realities.
