LUMS Physics faculty, Dr. Babar Qureshi was invited by the Jones Physics Society of Government College University (GCU), Lahore to talk about the physics of gravitational waves. GCU VC, Prof. Hassan Ameer Shah was also in attendance during the talk.
On the occasion, Dr. Babar Qureshi met the VC Prof. Hassan Shah, the Salam Chair Prof. Ghulam Murtaza and other professors to discuss recent developments in physics and appraised them of the teaching and research efforts going on at the Department of Physics at LUMS.
