On October 26th, 2021, an agreement was inked between LUMS and HBL for collaboration on SDSB's PhD Management programme. LUMS Provost, Dr. Farhat Haq; Vice Provost, Dr. Tariq Jadoon; and SDSB Faculty and PhD Management Programme Director, Dr. Ghazal Mir Zulfiqar attended the event. Mr. Tariq Masaud (CRO) and Mr. Farrukh Mirza represented HBL at the event.
LUMS-HBL agreement ceremony is a historic moment for both institutions. Going forward HBL will collaborate with the Suleman Dawood School of Business’s (SDSB) PhD program and its finance stream. HBL will support leading edge scholarly and applied research in SDSB on real world problems in global, regional and local finance, and its social and economic impact. We expect the collaboration between SDSB faculty, PhD students and HBL executives to lead to new and exciting synergies.
