Canadian alumni hosted a get together in the Toronto region on Friday, January 22, 2016 to celebrate and re-energise the Canadian Chapter Networking Drive. The hall was jam packed with over 50 alumni and their families who connected with each other and SDSB professor Dr. Jamshed Khan. Everyone was honored at having an opportunity to meet and interact with Dr. Jamshed and asked him tough questions about recent news from LUMS and Pakistan.
As the night progressed, discussion occurred over a range of topics including the LUMS brand, mentoring opportunities, entrepreneurship and other topics of interest. Recent graduates shared their experiences with those who have settled in the Toronto area. Regardless of age, the entire group renewed their connection to LUMS and their dedication to increasing awareness of LUMS with prospective employees and to the Canadian network in general.
