Ufone conducted its recruitment drive for their Summer Internship Programme 2018 at Lahore University of Management Sciences. Ms. Nur Umar of the Human Resources Department started the session by giving a brief introduction of her colleagues and the company. She informed the students that the company requires people who like to stand out and speak in public. Further, she invited some of the volunteers from the audience to showcase their presentation skills.
Ms. Nur then explained the company profile and said that Ufone focuses on innovation and value-added services (VAS). In 2001, Pakistan Telecom Mobile Limited (PTML) started their operations with the brand name of UFONE. She said that Ufone has expanded their network coverage across 10,000 locations in Pakistan. Moreover, they provide international roaming facilities in more than 160 countries.
Further, she elaborated on Ufone’s Summer Internship Programme and explained about the internship process to the students.
The session then concluded with an interactive Question and Answer Session followed by an online test.
