Summer School @LUMS (SSL) arranged a memorable Closing Ceremony for its participants on July 5, 2019. Session one of SSL began on June 14, 2019, with students joining from across Pakistan and overseas - all eager to learn and discover. 114 students enrolled in the session and the Ceremony marked the end of an engaging and fun-filled journey for them all.
The SSL team commenced the ceremony by greeting the participants and their parents, who were also in attendance. This was followed by a short film, which was a compilation of all the unforgettable memories of the journey, leaving participants a little teary-eyed.
Dr. Adnan Khan, Dean Office of Student Affairs and Associate Professor, Department of Mathematics was the chief guest of the ceremony. He addressed the graduating participants, congratulated them all and motivated them to explore their options and work hard to excel in their field.
Later in the evening, certificates were distributed to the graduating participants. The ceremony concluded with an exhibition of student projects that included a variety of arts, crafts and graphic design.
