The LUMS School of Education (SOE) team travelled to Gilgit, Peshawar and Faisalabad, and successfully conducted information sessions for the MPhil Education Leadership and Management programme, which included free GRE preparatory workshops.
The Gilgit MPhil information session and GRE workshop was held on March 3 at Karakoram International University, Gilgit-Baltistan. Despite the unforeseen weather conditions, the event was attended by a large number of participants eager to learn more about the MPhil programme. The audience included students, alumni, faculty and staff of the Karakoram International University, as well as students and alumni from other universities in Gilgit.
The Peshawar information session and GRE workshop was conducted on March 5 at Qayyum Stadium, Peshawar. The audience actively engaged with the SOE team at the conclusion of the information session, asking them questions regarding the MPhil programme and the career prospects that SOE graduates will have in the education sector.
The MPhil information session and GRE workshop in Faisalabad was held on March 10 at the University of Central Punjab (UCP). The session proved to be a great success, as the event received an overwhelming response by students, alumni, staff and faculty members of UCP, as well as administrative staff from Allied Schools.
Online application support was also provided by the volunteers present at the venues in all three cities, where the participants could approach the SOE team and start their online admission applications, and clarify their concerns regarding the MPhil programme further.
