ShopTrav conducted an information session at LUMS on Friday, March 2, 2018, which commenced with Mr. Zain Hassan, Co-Founder ShopTrav sharing a brief introduction of the company. He informed the students that ShopTrav started its operations in 2016 and is an online marketing platform where shoppers and international travellers meet. Mr. Hassan also elaborated on the working process of ShopTrav. “You make uploads, check who is headed your way, choose between offers, accept an offer and deposit safely with ShopTrav and then wait for the traveller to come bearing your purchase,” he explained.
He also discussed the business transactional model and their marketing strategies with the students. The session ended with an interactive Q&A session.
