SAHSOL Student Passes the CSS Examination

Wednesday, May 17, 2017
Qualifying the Central Superior Services (CSS) examination is the dream of every young talented Pakistani student. Thousands of candidates appear each year, but only a few are selected. For the past few years, an increasing number of LUMS students are appearing for and qualifying the competitive examination after graduation. However, it is the first time in the history of LUMS that a currently enrolled student has qualified the CSS exam (CE 2016). Malik Muhammad Danish from the class of 2017 at the Shaikh Ahmad Hassan School of Law (SAHSOL) has achieved 13th position overall in Pakistan and 1st position in the Foreign Services Group.

Danish is currently in his final year at SAHSOL and has been consecutively on the Dean’s Honour List for the past three years. Last year he passed the Provincial Management Services (PMS 2015) examination, but preferred to continue his education at LUMS over joining PMS. He also did a Master’s in Persian from the University of the Punjab last year and stood second in the University.
