REDC Programme on Marketing Innovations

The 3-day hands-on programme on Marketing Innovations by LUMS Rausing Executive Development Centre (REDC) concluded on December 28, 2016. The programme was led by Dr. Zain-ul-Abdin Khawaja and focused on the latest tools and techniques in the world of social media marketing and brand-in-hand mobile digital marketing.

The programme was well received by the participants from diverse areas of expertise. The main emphasis was on social media and mobile digital marketing trends and tactics, social media metrics, cross linking of platforms and paid content tactics. The programme also highlighted the differences between traditional & digital consumer and tactical advertising for the modern consumer.

The programme was structured around the project whereby participants created social media branding strategies aligned to heir organisational context and applied the knowledge learnt during the programme to promote their brands using real life platforms.
