The 7-day open enrollment programme, ‘Developing Future Leaders’ directed by Jamshed H. Khan and Saad Azmat concluded on March 19, 2017. Through a unique blend of case studies and simulation, the programme drew emphasis on developing greater confidence, creativity, resourcefulness, initiative and solutions-finding and problem-solving capabilities.

The focus of the programme was to identify personal leadership style, assess strengths and weaknesses and understand how to influence team dynamics to lead with impact. Joined in teaching by Anwar Khurshid, Muhammad Adeel Zaffar and Aamna Khalid, the programme provided insights on personality types, team building, developing leadership potential, problem solving and communications skills.

The course was designed to meet the objectives of giving a comprehensive understanding of contemporary knowledge and skills necessary for young managers to become effective in the roles as future leaders of their organisations.

“It was undoubtedly the most interesting seven days I have spent in my professional career. I discovered more about myself through various innovative forms of teaching than conventional course material,” said a programme participant.
