The Rausing Executive Development Centre (REDC) held an executive development programme, Public Sector Project Management from March 27 - 30, 2017. The programme was designed to help participants to develop an understanding of varied contours of project management in context of large public sector institutions.
Directed by Zahra Waheed, co-directed by Shakeel Sadiq Jajja, joined in teaching by Arif I. Rana and Anjum Fayyaz, the programme highlights the context of group project development, work breakdown structure and public sector procurement. Through case studies, content such as result based management, managing conflicts during projects and stakeholder management was a part of the curriculum.
The programme was well received by the participants. “The Programme is very effective in its design and execution. It will certainly compel the attendee to make positive changes in its approach and way to look at life as a whole,“ programme participant.
