The Rausing Executive Development Centre (REDC) conducted a uniquely designed 4-day programme, ‘Modern Retail Management’ from March 11 - 14, 2019. The Programme provided retailers a platform to discuss and rethink their business models to enhance customer experience and create an operating niche.
Led by Programme Directors, Dr. Muhammad Shakeel Sadiq Jajja and Dr. Arif I Rana and supported in teaching by Dr. Mohsin Nasir Jatt, the Programme emphasised on the challenges of retail management, evaluating strategic and operative choices available to businesses looking for advancements in scale and efficiencies. Participation from 15 well-known organisations from various industry sectors and business backgrounds boosted the learning experience. Well known industry experts joined the Programme as guest speakers, Managing Director, Metro Cash and Carry also shared his valuable insights on the food retail landscape in Pakistan.
Real time scenarios through a simulation, interactive discussions added an exciting learning experience to the Programme, which also featured interactive sessions on the Economics of a Retail Chain, Retail Audit, Managing the Salesforce, Online Retailing and Managing Information and Business Model. The programme was highly appreciated and participants commended the environment, impressive faculty and the overall facilities provided by REDC.
