Under its custom initiatives, the Rausing Executive Development Centre (REDC) has once again hosted a focused programme, ‘Leading Teams’ for country’s top telecom with the purpose of achieving leadership excellence, team management skills and pacing up with the digital transformation within the organisation. During the 4-day engagement, the programme exposed participants to contemporary practices in developing leadership to create cohesion, trust, and collaboration.
Led by Suleman Dawood School of Business faculty, Dr. Muhammad Abdur Rahman Malik and Dr. Arif Nazir Butt, and supported in teaching by Dr. Muhammad Adeel Zaffar, the programme was structured to spark self-reflection and entrepreneurism to create a learning laboratory for generating breakthrough ideas, gain trust, manage group dynamics, and change management.
With an amalgamation of hands-on approach and emphasis on interactive learning, participants immersed in case studies from global markets to explore various practices to master complex challenges and capitalize on emerging opportunities. To maximise participation, case studies, simulations, exercises and interactive discussions were included in the programme.
The programme was well received by participants and created a memorable learning experience. “The teaching approach using simulations was awesome, gave feedback about your thought process and decisions. A must attend programme for leaders and managers,” said Qasim Anwer, Manager Digital Accounts, Jazz.
