The Rausing Executive Development Centre (REDC) conducted the well-known 'Enhancing Board Effectiveness: Director’s Training Programme', offered in two modules comprising of two days each. The first module was conducted from November 18 to 19, 2017 and the second module was conducted on December 8 to 9, 2017.
Programme Directors Dr. Khalid A. Mirza and Dr. Anwar Khurshid led the programme and Dr. Syed Mubashir Ali and Syed Masoud Ali Naqvi supported them in teaching.
In the course of this programme, participants learned the best practices of corporate boards, how to leverage their skills to effectively lead, assemble and analyse the right level of information, rise to the challenges of changing times and effectively align the interests of individuals, organisations and society.
Discussion based case studies, interactive simulations and projects were blended with classroom activity to make the participants familiar with governance challenges and issues faced both globally and locally. The programme was well received by the participants.
