The Rausing Executive Development Centre (REDC) conducted a 4-day executive programme on Building High-Performance Teams from November 14 to 17, 2017. The programme was led by Director Arif N. Butt and supported by Anwar Khurshid and Muhammad Abdur Rahman Malik as teaching faculty.

Building High-Performance Teams is a high-impact programme, which presents effective techniques to assist participants with team management by building vital skills to maximise individual contribution, understand team roles, overcome conflict, negotiate solutions, evaluate outcomes and think creatively.

Adding a new and exciting simulation has enhanced the experiential approach of the programme. The activity focuses on team dynamics in a real-life situation with an emphasis on how to optimise the performance both as a team player and a team leader.

Interactive simulation and exercises blend with classroom discussions on real human resource challenges for interactive discussions and idea sharing amongst the executives. The programme was well received by participants with a key appreciation for the interactive learning, the Centre’s ambience, teaching expertise and in-depth knowledge of the faculty team.

A programme participant stated, “This programme is a must have for any organisation looking to enhance the performance of their teams.”

“Great learning experience. After this course, I find myself better equipped to face day to day challenges,” said Imran Nazeer, Chief Manager-Head of Financial Reporting, Bank Al-Habib Limited.
