REDC Conducts Programme on Building High Performance Teams

A 4-day hands-on programme by Rausing Executive Development Centre (REDC) on Building High Performance Teams concluded on February 10, 2017. Directed by Arif N. Butt and with support from Anwar Khurshid and Muhammad Abdur Rahman Malik, the programme focused on the enhancing attributes related to leadership, communication and team management.

 

The main emphasis of the programme was on identifying issues/ conflicts in teams, analysing work groups, identifying personality types and knowing individuals’ communication styles. A pedagogical mix of case studies, simulations, video cases and an outdoor experiential team based exercise were used to illuminate transformation of teams through leadership and manage cross-functional teams. All these activities focused on team dynamics in real-life situations and elaborated how to maximize performance in real-life situations. “This programme is a complete package to understand the art behind team building,” commented a programme participant.
