Rausing Executive Development Centre (REDC), LUMS conducted Management Development Programme (MDP) for a leading Engineering Firm from December 10 - 15, 2018. Tailored to last a week long, this programme for top executives and business leaders allowed participants to build an overarching view required to decode organisational DNA and structure, think beyond conventional solutions and drive a winning strategy.
The immersive programme was led by Dr. Jamshed H. Khan, Professor, Suleman Dawood School of Business (SDSB) and Dr. Anwar Khurshid, Professor, SDSB, joined in teaching by Dr. Jawad Syed, Professor, SDSB, Khalid A. Mirza, Professor, SDSB, Dr. Omair Haroon, Assistant Professor, SDSB and Dr. Muhammad Shafique, Assistant Professor, SDSB. The CEO of the organisation shared his vision of the company growth and strategy, motivating top talents to take the reins of success into their hands. Industry experts shared their leadership experiences and provided comparison on global and local business scenarios to the executives. The programme highlighted different challenges of corporate world and addressed unique and contemporary themes that included Customer Centric Culture, Global Leadership, Change Management, Corporate Governance alongside the continuous evolution and rapidly increasing pace of business. Residing together at LUMS, the participants immersed themselves in a holistic learning experience that had been engineered to be rigorous, real in context and transformational.
Case studies, hands-on exercises and state-of-the-art business simulations were blended to ensure participants remain engaged and gain exposure on best management practices on global strategies, financial literacy, customer centric culture, strategic leadership and corporate governance etc. The participants commended the faculty expertise and the programme execution excellence.
