Under its custom initiatives, the Rausing Executive Development Centre (REDC) launched a two year executive programme on Business Management for PTCL. The first module of the programme, Leadership for Change Agility was conducted from August 26-28, 2019. The programme encompassed an integrated and multidisciplinary view of transformational change, leadership and organisation culture relevant to the challenges of the telecommunication industry. The programme aimed to develop leaders through critical understanding of steadfast and resolute leadership that can drive change initiatives for business success.
During the three day engagement, the programme exposed participants to contemporary practices in developing leadership, team cohesion, change management and leading teams for success. The programme addressed unique challenges to embrace change in industry dynamics, in context of agility and its implications in today’s business landscape.
Led by Dr. Muhammad Adeel Zaffar and Dr. Jawad Syed, supported in teaching by Dr. Abdur Rahman Malik, the programme exposed participants to the competition and the capabilities required to compete in a rapidly transforming industry, organisational culture and values and how to develop an understanding of leadership strengths and areas for improvement to achieve the overall objectives of the organisation.
Adopting a hands-on approach to learning, participants immersed in self-assessment exercises, case studies from the global market to explore best practices, emerging trends and challenges in the industry for improving business outlook. The programme was highly appreciated and participants commended the good environment, impressive faculty and the overall facilities provided by the REDC.
