Pakistan State Oil (PSO) conducted its recruitment drive for their Management & Graduate Trainee Programmes as well as for their Internship Programmes at Lahore University of Management Sciences. The session started with an introductory video describing the facts and figures of Pakistan State Oil. Mr. Yaqoob Sattar, Deputy Managing Director of PSO then highlighted the Mission and Vision of PSO. He then discussed the salient points regarding PSO and told the audience that PSO has the largest oil storage capacity that is over one million tons representing 74% of nation’s total capacity.
Moreover, he stated that PSO serves over 3 million customers daily at their retail outlets as well as introducing higher grade RON environment friendly gasoline. PSO is also the leader in the fuel card business. Mr. Sattar also discussed about the future plans of PSO and their focus towards HR Capital Skill Development and increased employee engagement for an effective and motivated entrepreneurial team.
Later, he explained the mechanics of their trainee & internship programmes and also guided the students about the hiring criteria.
