PSDF Holds Summer Internship Drive 2018 at LUMS

Punjab Skills Development Fund (PSDF) conducted a recruitment drive for its Summer Internship Programme 2018 at LUMS. Ms. Zainab Kakar, Manager HR started the session by giving a brief introduction of the company.

She explained that PSDF started its operations in 2010. The aim of the organisation is to provide quality skills and vocational training opportunities to the poor and vulnerable populations of all the 36 districts of Punjab in order to improve livelihood prospects for them. Since its establishment, PSDF has trained 150,000 youth in over 200 trades and is working with over 250 private and public sector training providers. Over the next 5 years, they will be training over 400,000 youth across Punjab who will be employed in Pakistan and abroad.

She further explained about the Summer Internship Programme that PSDF is offering and the project based internships in the following departments: Research and Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation, Programme Development and Business Development and Partnerships. She explained that the selection process starts with the submission of Resume and Personal Statement, followed by interviews and ends with giving offers to the shortlisted candidates.
