Prof. Ben Boer and Prof. Qin Tianbao, Research Institute of Environmental Law, University of Wuhan, delivered the Khalid Ishaque Distinguished Lecture, “Implementing the Environmental Rule of Law: Principles and Practice” at the Asifa Irfan Moot Court Room, Shaikh Ahmad Hassan School of Law.
The engaging lecture, held on Wednesday, February 28, 2018, was attended by the Honourable Mr. Justice Farrukh Muhammend Irfan of the Lahore High Court, Dr. Parvez Hassan, visitors from the Asian Development Bank, the University of Delaware Law School, the Asia and Pacific Office of the Law Division of UN Environment as well as students and faculty who asked many pertinent questions regarding the existence and implementation of laws designed to protect the environment.
